Each year, nominations are submitted by public, private and parochial school administrators, colleagues, students, and parents throughout the five-county Traverse Bay region. Nomination materials are reviewed by a selection committee and scored based on demonstrated educational excellence.
The annual Outstanding Educator Award ceremony will honor those selected. A reception begins at 6:15. The ceremony is open to the public and will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the City Opera House in Traverse City.
