
Postsecondary Partners
Students at the TBAISD Career-Tech Center have an opportunity to earn college credit for competencies attained in our career and technical programs. This is called postsecondary credit articulation which is completed through a formal agreement in writing between two or more institutions.
Benefits to the student include:
- Starting college studies while in high school
- Earning college credits for course work taken at the secondary level
- Less money spent on college tuition
- Shorten the time spent obtaining a postsecondary education
- Improves job readiness skills and job placement potential
- Articulated credit appears on the student's college transcript
